New Shetland Reel Limited Edition Gin Marks Shetland Novel’s release

The new special limited edition gin from Shetland Distillery Company is produced to celebrate the launch of a new Ann Cleeves novel, Wild Fire, the final in her Shetland series.  Inspired by the novel, Wild Fire is said to be a balanced London Dry Gin with juniper and sweet spice notes that have a lingering and warming finish.

Shetland Distillery promises that “Tasted neat, there are notes of warming cinnamon and sweet orange that linger on the palate. The long finish has an aromatic spice with a touch of heat from dried red chillies. Wild Fire pairs beautifully with premium tonic, which softens the heat from the spices and lifts the sweet citrus notes of the sorrel and orange peel. It is best enjoyed with a slice of orange and a copy of Cleeves’ Wild Fire.”

 The new Wild Fire Gin will be tasted by fans of Ann Cleeves as she kicks off her book tour in Lerwick Town Hall on 5th September and will be available on their online shop.
