New Cask Finish Gin is released ready for Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival
Great news! A brand new batch of Cask Finish Gin from Avva Scottish Gin is being released in time for the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, on the 3rd-5th May.
The Cask Finish 55% Gin is now on Cask 3 and is matured for 6 months in a first fill Bourbon Cask from Kentucky. Made by Jill Brown, Master Distiller and founder, the spirit from Avva Scottish Gin is hand-filled into the Bourbon Cask to mature for 6 months to create a unique honey colour and distinct flavour.
Moray Distillery Ltd, where Avva Scottish Gin is distilled is not usually open for tours, but is holding open days as part of the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival to give visitors a unique behind the scenes experience to the world of gin and direct access to Jill who will share with them her story and a gin.
