Pickering’s Gin Baubles are popping up in Edinburgh this Christmas!
If you’re visiting the festive markets in Edinburgh’s City Centre this year, keep an eye out for Pickering’s Gin, who have two festive pop-ups happening this year and they’re sure to be worth a visit.
Staffed by the ‘Pickering’s Elves’, the first site at Edinburgh’s Christmas Market (next to the Big Wheel) will give visitors a chance to sample and buy the Pickering’s range of Festively Flavoured Gin.
Edinburgh-based Pickering’s Gin has been building on the huge success of their groundbreaking gin baubles in recent years and this year they have created a brand new Christmassy inspired pack of baubles – including six new festively flavoured gins.
For £25 for a pack of 6 baubles, gin fans can get their hands on the much talked about Brussels Sprout flavour gin as well as Christmas Clementine, Festive Cranberry, Spiced Pear and Cinnamon, Figgy Pudding and Plum and Ginger flavoured gins. Perfect to see you through the festive period.
All six festive flavours will be able to sample at their hut, along with their award-winning range of London Dry Gins.
Believe it or not, Edinburgh’s Christmas Markets open this coming Saturday 16th November and will be open until Saturday 4th January! So there’s plenty of time to pay a visit.
As well as taking pride of place at Edinburgh’s Christmas Market, Pickering’s Gin will also be across the road at The Festival Village above Waverley Mall where you can take a break from shopping and relax with a cocktail or warming gin hot toddy.
And, you’ll be glad to know that The Pickering’s Festively Flavoured Gin Village is undercover, heated and has live music daily.
Here, you’ll have an opportunity to taste any of the brand new festive flavours as well as a selection of other warming Pickering’s tipples including the Go Fig or Go Home (a Figgy Pudding twist on the classic Old Fashioned) and the Sloe Gin Fizz.
The Festival Village will open on Thursday 14th November and remain open until the new year. It is open 10am – 10pm, Monday – Sunday.
The Scottish Gin Society team will certainly be paying a visit soon and will make sure to share our experience and pictures with you!
